Access cards can be customized for specific levels of access. Since each card is unique to the user, the system can provide detailed activity reports of building entry. Trans-Alarm offers a variety of card formats in smart card, proximity and magnetic stripe technologies.
 

The use of a card access system eliminates the need for keys. This is helpful when an employee leaves the organization as the building does not have to be rekeyed — the employee simply turns in the card and the card is deleted from the access computer database. You have the peace of mind knowing the card has not been duplicated as keys can. Access systems can be combined with other Trans-Alarm services such as photo badging, bar coding and Closed Circuit TV.
